In observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, The Port of Virginia is pleased to announce the following operating plan:

Thursday, Dec. 22

• Observing regular posted hours at all terminals and support facilities
• No release of TRS reservations via PRO-PASS for Saturday, Dec. 24. – ILA restricted holiday
• Standard TRS mandatory hours are in effect
• The Empty Return Matrix for Monday, Dec. 26 will be posted and released after 1500

Friday, Dec. 23

• Observing regular posted hours at all terminals and support facilities
• Standard TRS mandatory hours are in effect
• 0900 hours – Window opens for confirming Monday, Dec. 26, TRS reservations via PRO-PASS
• The Empty Return Matrix for Tuesday, Dec. 27 and Wednesday, Dec. 28 will be posted and released after 1500
• HARD STOP for all terminal activities at 2359 hours
• TRS reservations cannot be made, edited or validated after 1900 hours on Dec. 23, until 0600 hours on Dec. 26
• Administrative offices – CLOSED

Saturday, Dec. 24 – Christmas Eve

• By contract – ILA restricted holiday
• All terminals and administrative offices are closed

Sunday, Dec. 25 – Christmas Day

• By contract – ILA restricted holiday
• All terminals and administrative offices are closed

Monday, Dec. 26

• 0600 hours truck gates OPEN at VIG, NIT, PPCY, PCY and RSA
  • TRS reservations can now be made, edited and validated
  • NIT inbound portal closure at 1700 hours
  • VIG inbound portal closure at 1800 hours
  • PPCY, PCY and RSA last empty container delivery/pick-up – last in-gate truck at 1830 hours
• Standard TRS mandatory hours are in effect
• 0900 hours – Window opens for confirming Tuesday, Dec. 27 and Wednesday, Dec. 28, TRS reservations via PRO-PASS
• The Empty Return Matrix for Thursday, Dec. 29 will be posted and released after 1500
• NNMT, RMT and VIP – observing regular posted hours
• Administrative offices – CLOSED
